asics Greenville Track Club-ELITE - a post-collegiate, Olympic development program
ASICS Greenville Track Club-ELITE's Carolyn Watson placed second in the women's division of the Oak City Mile in Raleigh, NC on a hot Sunday afternoon. Watson ran 5:10.0 over the downtown out-and-back route and finished behind Durham, NC's Marisa Ryan's 5:06.7. Ryan, a graduate of Boston University and now a physician, is a former NCAA All American at 3,000 meters. The first three finishers in the "Competitive" divisions of the event earned $300, $200 and $100, respectively.
