ASICS Greenville Track Club-ELITE's Victor Pataky and Avery Martin ran solid performances on the second day of the Music City Distance Carnival in Nashville, TN. Pataky ran a personal best of 8:56.67 to place ninth in the 3,000-meter Steeplechase, knocking six seconds from his previous best. His teammate, Ryan Bugler, placed 12th with a time of 9:09.61. Martin just missed his personal best by .51 of a second as he placed 2nd in his heat and 13th overall with a time of 3:45.91. All three athletes, along with teammate Eddie Garcia, are scheduled to compete in the Portland Track Festival in Oregon next weekend. GTC-ELITE was established in 2012. The program produced four qualifiers for the 2016 USA Olympic Trials Marathon in Los Angeles and one qualifier for the 2019 Pam American Games Marathon in. Lima, Peru.
