![]() ASICS Greenville Track Club-ELITE's Alison Parris returned home to Maryland and won the 16th Annual Hagerstown Community College Turkey Trot 5K with a time of 16:45. Parris' teammate, Kate Dodds also returned home, to Pennsylvania, and won the 2016 Abington YMCA Gobble Wobble 5K on a cold and wet Thanksgiving morning. Her time was 17:59 over the hilly course. In Asheville, NC, ASICS GTC-ELITE's Kimberly Ruck placed second among women in the 16th Annual Asheville Citizens-Times Turkey Trot. The former Clemson standout finished with a time of 18:29 over a hilly 5K route. The race was won by Harvard University graduate Whitney Thornburg (18:12), who was also a member of the University of New Mexico's 2015 NCAA cross country champions and is now an assistant coach at Harvard. GTC-ELITE produced four qualifiers for the 2016 USA Olympic Trials Marathon in Los Angeles and is sponsored by ASICS, the 44-year-old Greenville Track Club, Performance Therapy, Greenville Health System, ScanSource, Soleus Running Watches, Boston Bill Sunglasses, Roll Recovery, FinalSurge, Joy Real Estate, The TD Bank Foundation, The Kroc Center, Carolina Spine and Rehab, The ATI Running Academy, ElliptiGO, the Bare Minimum Track Club and generous individual contributors.
