![]() ASICS Greenville Track Club-ELITE's Dylan Hassett and Nicole DiMercurio ran to second and third place finishes in the Run Nona 15K in Lake Nona, FL. Hassett's time of 53:07 was only ten seconds behind Esther Atkins' winning time of 52:57. Atkins, the 2014 USA Marathon national champion, represented the USA in the 2015 World Championships in Bejing, China. Dylan's performance earned $2,500, while Atkins took home the winner's purse of $4,000 and DiMercurio earned $1,000 for her 54:11 effort. The race started at 4:30 pm and the runners experienced very warm, 79-degree, temperatures and high humidity. The women's ASICS GTC-ELITE teammate, Ricky Flynn, placed sixth overall with a time of 48:52. He is returning to fitness after an extended break due to a stress fracture and is beginning preparation for the USA Olympic Marathon Trials in February.
