![]() GTC-ELITE athlete Wallace Campbell recently graduated from Clemson University with his Ph.D. in Applied Economics. Dr. Campbell's dissertation was titled "Valuation of timberland under price uncertainty." "Planting timber is the equivalent to purchasing an American put option - the ability to sell an asset (timber) at or before a certain date. Traditional methods of forest valuation undervalue land by assuming that management behavior is fixed over time. Incorporating managerial flexibility increases the net present value of land relative to a fixed harvesting strategy." The GTC-ELITE coaches and teammates congratulate Dr. Campbell on this career milestone accomplishment and welcome him back to our training regimen.

I am looking forward to seeing you continue your running career as well and will be excited to see how things go in Duluth. We are hopeful of finding a part-time opportunity for you commensurate with your academic success. Bill
