![]() The ASICS Greenville Track Club-ELITE program is proud to announce the addition of Brian Graves. The Appalachian State University graduate will be relocating to Greenville from Boone, NC, where he majored in Exercise Science and was a standout on the Mountaineers perennially strong distance squad. "We are excited to be able to work with Brian at the post-collegiate level," stated GTC-ELITE director Mike Caldwell. "I have observed him in competition over his NCAA career and believe he has a lot of untapped potential in the longer distances such as 10,000, Half-Marathon and beyond. He had a good career at App State and Coach Curcio agrees that he has not achieved his peak performances, yet. We believe we can help him reach his goals and achieve his dreams." Graves becomes yet another GTC-ELITE athlete who prepped in the state of Maryland before competing at the NCAA level, joining Ricky Flynn and Alison Parris. He is also familiar with his former ASU teammate and friend, Chris Caldwell, so should be able to fit into the program environment immediately. GTC-ELITE is sponsored by ASICS, the Greenville Track Club, Performance Therapy, Greenville Health System's North Greenville Hospital, ScanSource, Soleus Running Watches, Boston Bill Sunglasses, The Kroc Center, Carolina Spine and Rehab, ElliptiGO, the Bare Minimum Track Club and generous individual contributors.
