![]() ASICS Greenville Track Club-ELITE's women's team placed 8th of 41 teams at the 2015 USATF Club Cross Country Championships in San Francisco, CA on Saturday. Dylan Hassett led the effort with an excellent 15th place finish in 20:29 over the 6-Kilometer course through beautiful Golden Gate Park. She was followed 11 seconds later by Alison Parris, who placed 26th with a time of 20:40. Nicole DiMercurio ran 21:00 to place 43rd. Chelsi Woodruff was the fourth team finisher in 81st with a time of 21:43 and Kimberly Ruck completed the scoring in 154th, running 22:46. It was the first time the group has competed as a team in these championships. The top three women were very competitive throughout the race which featured 350 women from around the country. The post-collegiate, Olympic development program also had two athletes competing in the men's 10K championship event. Ricky Flynn was in the top 25 when his foot was clipped by another runner and lost his shoe. He lost some valuable time and multiple places as he stopped to replace the shoe before rejoining the race. He was able to work his way up to 43rd by the finish and had a time of 30:46. Mark Leininger placed 75th of the 400-plus runners in the "A" section with a time of 31:21.
