![]() ASICS Greenville Track Club-ELITE's Nicole DiMercurio ran 34:34 to place 22nd overall in the 2015 USA Women's 10K Championships, run in conjunction with the Tufts Health Plan Women's 10K in Boston, MA. Her teammate, Alison Parris, finished 37th with a time of 35:20 in a very deep field that had 45 women break 36 minutes (5:48 per mile pace) on a beautiful Monday in New England. The race is considered one of the top events in the nation and is annually conducted on Columbus Day in Boston and attracts thousands of participants. ![]() ASICS Greenville Track Club-ELITE's Mark Leininger ran 49:24 to place 21st at the 2015 USA 10-Mile Championships held in conjunction with the Medtronic 10-Mile in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota. On a crisp Sunday morning, the American University graduate ran almost even splits over the scenic and rolling route that finishes with an uphill segment near the state capitol building. Mark passed the halfway point at 24:39 in 24th position and covered the final 5 miles in 24:45. On a wild, wet and windy morning, Parris ran 50 seconds slower than her year-old course record to win with a time of 17:52. Besides winning the women's title, she finished 5th overall on a day in which only the hardy showed up and competed. For her efforts she took home $100 and a big smile.
