![]() ASICS Greenville Track Club-ELITE's Kimberly Ruck continued her winning ways as she raced to a wide-margin of victory in the Hilton Garden Invitational's 3,000 meters event in Winston-Salem, NC. It was her third victory in as many races, coming after recent wins at Columbia's Main Street Crit 8K on New Year's Eve and Greenville's 2015 opening Greenville News Run Downtown 5K, where she set a new course record. Ruck's winning time of 9:35.0 was ten seconds ahead of the second place finisher on the 200-meter indoor track at the JDL Fast Track complex. Her pace averaged approximately 5:08 per mile. ![]() ASICS Greenville Track Club-ELITE athlete Ricky Flynn ran 4:58 per mile to place 48th at the 2015 USA Half Marathon Championships in Houston, TX on Sunday morning. After passing the 10-kilometer split in 30:06 (4:51 per mile pace) and 15K in 45:33, Flynn slowed somewhat over the final 6K to finish in 1:04:56. That time would have qualified him for the 2016 USA Olympic Team Marathon Trails, if he had not already qualified in Duluth's Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon last June. Ricky's personal best for the distance is 1:03:44.
