ASICS Greenville Track Club-ELITE athletes Alison Parris and Mark Leininger both placed among the top three at the 11th Annual Jail Break 5K in Lexington, SC on Saturday morning. Parris ran 17:22 to place second behind winner Zipporah Chebet's 17:05. For her performance she earned $350 ($300 for her place and $50 for running under 18:00).
Leininger's time of 14:38 placed third behind Kenyan's Francis Kamir (14:22) and Geoffrey Ngetich (14:24). That earned Mark $200, with $150 for second and $50 for breaking 15:00.
